Recently, I shot one of my precious baby planners first birthday session.  I LOVE some of these images so much – and the entire cake scene just makes me smile!  Happy Birthday sweet Parker, thank you for choosing me to document your first year!

I have a dear friend who called several months ago to arrange a session for her sister’s kids, who live in Houston.  She and her sister have a very special relationship – they even have the same purse.  We got rained out on our scheduled session, so my friend Amber, kept her sister’s kids and their dog so that we could take pictures on the next available sunny day.  Then she drove all 4 kids and the dog back to Houston for her sister – can you say dedication.  I love this family.  They are each others priority and it shows!  Not to mention, they are super fun, cool, beautiful people as well!  Here are a few of my favorites from their session.  Meet Riley, Will, Sydney, and Nick.

Well, I have officially been on a computer break – at least a break for me, which has meant not being glued to my computer every hour of every day.  I actually took the time to watch TV with my husband in the evenings instead of working.  I must admit, it has been really nice.  I have been hounded by several of my blog friends to blog, so I am back.  I have been back shooting for a few weeks now, but not working as hard or fast as usual.  This week I am extra full, so I figured I better get my act together or else things would begin to fall apart.  I have so many sessions from last year that I missed posting due to the business of the season, so now I hope to share of few of those with you.  Here is the last one I shot of the year.  It is one of my December babies who was on my baby plan.  I loved working with this family, they are not only beautiful, but sooo laid back and fun to work with.  I have a feeling that this baby boy is going to eat them out of house and home when he gets older.  I also love the dog series as well!  Hope you enjoy and I hope everyone has had a great start to their New Year!

WOW!  I have had a crazy week!  I did five sessions this week and have wanted to shoot myself most of the week for taking that many.  I normally do not take more than 3 a week, because I know this is what I can do and still keep balance in my crazy life; however, when it rains, sessions start to pile up!  Thanks hurricane IKE! But seeing most people are dealing with way more devastation than me due to this storm, I will buck up and quit complaining! I know many of our neighbors and friends have been housing friends who were displaced due to no power etc  . . .  I hope they can go home soon – I can’t imagine what it is like not being able to go home.  One thing that has come out of that horrible storm is the amazing weather it left behind.  I can’t remember the last time we had a full week of such amazing weather.

That being said, I have totally enjoyed this weeks sessions!  WOW!  My clients have stepped it up a notch this fall season with their fashion.  I must congratulate their Mom’s – WOW!  These mom’s have shopped high and low to find the perfect outfits for their session and it shows~

Check out this precious brother and sister.  I believe sister’s outfit came from the Gap and brother’s outfit came from Janie and Jack.  This was just one of their 3 clothing changes~!  Such a fun and beautiful family!

One of my baby planners from last year recently had a baby sister.  I am so excited, because this means, I will get to see this wonderful and beautiful family for another year.  We did baby C’s newborn session last week after a full day of rain.  Somehow we managed to venture outside in the very wet grass and get a few very precious images at the end of the session.
