I hope everyone had an amazing holiday.  I actually took a few days off to go to Fredricksburg, TX – to my father’s home.  We had an amazing time and I was able to really get some much needed sleep and I got to spend a ton of time with the people who mean the most to me – my kids and husband.  I will devote this weeks blog posts to my trip and the time we were able to spend with my family.  If you have never been to the hill country of Texas, I think this week I might be able to convince you it is one of the coolest places in Texas.  This first post is of a chapel that we went to on Thanksgiving day, it is always open and we were able to thank the One who makes all of our blessings possible.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!  I want to thank my clients who have made this an incredible year.  We are working around the clock to get everyone’s orders finished up.

I went back to Dayton, Ohio this past weekend.  Our best friend’s, from when we lived there, bought our house from us – CRAZY hugh!  So – I got to go and stay in our old house.  They have done wonderful things with the house, so it is so awesome going there.  It is really comfortable knowing where everything is already.  I am pretty sure I gained at least 15 pounds in three days.  AHHHH!  But – it was so worth it!  You see – Dayton has the best ice cream and the best cookies in the WORLD!  Yes people I said the WORLD!  I love to eat – I totally admit it – in fact I can remember every good restaurant I have ever eaten at and what I ordered.  My biggest downfall is really good ice cream, mint chocolate chip ice cream to be exact.

It is also the home of Dorothy Lane Market (my favorite little grocery store ever – it is like a Central Market / Whole Foods mix, but the size of a cute local market.  They have a bakery that is outstanding – but my favorite thing hands down are the Laura’s Cookies. I recognize that they don’t look that special – but oh my goodness – you have to get your hands on one if you are ever in Dayton.  

So between the dozen cookies and the gallon of ice cream I ate- I am on a permanent fast! BlahhhH!  

I also got to spend the weekend with a precious new baby boy and his big brother who my son thinks hung the moon!  It was a wonderful weekend here are a few pictures to show you how precious these children were. There are also some of the new baby with his cousins who were super sweet too!
