There is a Daddy that deserves a major award in my book!  A little over two years ago, he had his first child and his wife signed up for my baby plan.  He then had another child one year ago, so of course, they signed up for another year with me.  Basically, in the past two and a half years, he has had to see me 9 times.  As all Dad’s know, having to take family pictures is usually not a day most dad’s look forward to.  Thank you Kent for being kind and jolly at every session.  Happy Birthday Benton!  During this last session we also welcomed Benton’s cousin to the world of Catherine Clay Photography.  He flew all the way in from New York to meet with me.  Thanks you guys for an awesome day with an awesome family!

Every now and then I get the opportunity to shoot children who take my breath away.  These little girls did this for me.  Oh my goodness!  They were amazing – but also so kind hearted with the sweetest spirits!  This was a photographer’s dream.  If you want to know what to put your kids in for a session – this is the perfect example!  These clothes were from Peek, aren’t you curious, crewcuts, and Target.  I can’t get my links to work – sorry – but I am sure you can figure out where to find these items.  Peek, is one of my favorite children’s clothing stores and we have one in Dallas at NorthPark Mall.  I think everything about their branding is genius – they also have some pretty fantastic clothes.

Meet Layla and Kimme.

I am shooting wildflower sessions over and over!  I am giddy with this beauty in my world right now.  This is the one time of year North Texas gets color.  Spring is a perfect time for a family photography session with Catherine Clay Photography.  In fact, we are already starting to design and print Christmas cards – yes – you read that right!  We are already doing sessions that would be perfect for your Christmas sessions.  We begin to officially book the “busy” season (August – November) on June 2nd.  Last year we were completely booked in two days.
