Happy October! Dallas Children’s Photographer

This past week, I got to celebrate a very special birthday with two very special kiddos.  Ella and Owen met me at the Arboretum and I got the honor of not only photographing their first time there, but also had the honor of celebrating their 4th birthday with them. I have photographed these sweet twins since they were little bitty and it is so awesome to get to see them grow.  Their Mommy must be doing something right; because, they are amazing little people – so sweet, polite, and really just super fun to be around.  Their mommy had to work, but she sent them with presents to open and cupcakes to eat.  The Arboretum has one of the best pumpkin displays I have seen in years and I was thrilled when I saw that the twins coordinated perfectly with this amazing background.  Happy Birthday you two – thank you for sharing your birthday with me!

Rain Rain Go Away – Plano Children’s Photographer

It rained everyday in North Texas for two weeks – well at the end of this past week, the sun finally came out and we have gotten some of the most beautiful fall weather.  It normally is still super hot this time of year – but we have had some days were it is in the 60’s in the mornings.  I LOVE IT!!  This was one of my makeup sessions in this beautiful weather.  Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!

Smitten – Dallas Children’s Photographer

It is official – I am smitten.  I shot a family last week who made me laugh from the moment we met.  They are not only hysterical, they are precious as well. Meet Lane, who I knew I would love the moment we met. Just take one look at her amazing blue eyes and you will be smitten too.

Raining Digital Collection Boxes!

Woooo hooooo!  Today was an awesome day with the UPS man – in fact, I wanted to kiss him.  We got in 9 digital collection boxes from many of the sessions at the beach!  FINALLY!!!!  Just wanted all of my beach clients to know what would be on its way out the door on Monday morning!  For those that don’t know, when you order the digital collection at Catherine Clay Photography, you receive a custom image box with your disk of all of your digital files and a 5×7 bordered print of each image from your session.  They are a beautiful and obviously very popular way to store your images from your session.  Hope everyone has a fabulous weekend with no rain!!!!  Enjoy the sunshine – I know I will!

New Baby Sister – Ft Worth Baby Photographer

When I got a call from this Mommy to take newborn pictures, I was totally honored.  You see this mommy has become a photographer herself and I was honored to document the new addition to their family.  We had a wonderful morning and I loved meeting such a beautiful new baby girl.

A Dancer

Annabelle started dance today for the first time.  She was so excited she was squealing when she put on her leotard and tights.  Parents had to wait outside the room, so I was not able to get any of her in action.  Here are a few quick snaps right after we got dressed.  She melts my heart!

A Beautiful Evening

Hello blogging friends!  Sorry I have been MIA the past few weeks.  I was busy getting ready for the Oklahoma Football season that quickly came to an end on Saturday when our team made quite apparent they were not showing up this season.  I must tell you though – we loved the BYU fans!  Seriously, they were an awesome team to play and their fans were some of the nicest people we have ever met.  I am very far behind on my posts this fall season already, but I threw this one together this morning and thought I would share.  I loved this family, mostly because, they loved each other!  Dad got out of the car singing to me and then asked if there was a bathroom where he could change into his speedo.  I knew right away it was going to be a fun evening.  He is a little sneak peak for Lucas and Emma’s Mommy and Daddy.  Thanks you guys – it was an honor!
