Almost Gone – Dallas, TX Senior Photographer

I have known this beautiful child since she was 12.  So when her parents called and asked if I would take her senior pictures, I said of course I will!!!  What an honor it has been to take her pictures throughout the years and watch her grow in to a beautiful young woman.  It was a blast Morgan –  you are stunning!  I know you only have a few months left and then you will be officially grown up and gone.  It has gone so fast, I know with my own it will go this way as well!

On a personal note, we are back from Disney World and we are back to shooting. This week has been nuts though – I had Annabelle’s fabulous 4th bday party and I also came down with strep throat!  YUCK!!!  So, if you have emailed me and I have not yet returned your email.  I promise this week I will!!!  Also – be watching the blog – there will be pics from Disney and the Birthday Party.  I promise you will not be disappointed.

Here is beautiful Morgan:

The Cutest Valentine’s Ever – that will never see the classroom – Dallas Children’s Photographer

Well with school being cancelled today we have a small problem.  The kids valentine parties were scheduled for today and they were supposed to hand out the very cute valentines I ordered for them.  All of the parties will be rescheduled for next week, but we are heading on a jet plane to “The Happiest Place on Earth”  on Sunday for a week.  So I decided I would share what I designed for my kids here, seeing only their grandparents were going to get to see them otherwise.  This also allows you a chance to see what we can do with the pictures I take once we turn them in to a photo greeting for you!  All of my sessions were cancelled this week – due to Mother Nature and I promised to return to blogging clients, once we return from Disney World.  So until then, you just have to continue to deal with my blog that has completely turned into a digital diary of my life.  Hope everyone is enjoying the snow and weather!  Off to drink some hot chocolate.

It’s a Winter Wonderland – Plano, TX Children’s Photographer

Today we have received almost 6 inches of snow so far and it is still coming down.  Apparently, we have not had snow like this in North Texas since the 70’s!!!   The roads are fine so far, but I assume they will get bad this evening.  Sam had school today, but I went and got him out about an hour early so that we could play!!  I of course was supposed to be working today – two shoots – rescheduled!  Ahhhh!  But, it was so worth it – being able to build a snowman with my kids was a memory we will not forget!  PRICELESS!!!  While we do not have the snow amount that our friends on the East Coast have, we will take this.  So fun!!!

Just mine again – Plano Texas Children’s Photographer

A few weeks ago, I gave my kids a bath and we went out to take some pictures, because I love when there is really pretty winter light.  It was cool, but not crazy cold and the sun felt warm to our faces.  I convinced Sam we were looking for snakes and he agreed to take pictures.  Annabelle loves any excuse to take a bath, do her hair and wear a pretty dress.   I love some of these images.  I know I am going to get questions regarding their clothes, specifically hers.  Her dress is Right Bank Baby and her coat is Room Seven (one of my absolute favorite brands).  Here are the resulting images.  I can’t believe she will be 4 in a few weeks.  We are headed to “the happiest place on earth” Disney World for the actual date and then we are planning a precious ice cream party that I will post here later in the month.  I have an unhealthy obsession with children’s birthday parties.  I secretly wish I could put party planner on my resume as well.  I believe parties do not have to be super expensive, but you can do amazing details that make the party beautiful and unique.    I loved January – getting time off to be creative with my own children – AWESOMENESS!!!!

Four Month Old – Rock Star Baby – Plano Baby Photographer Catherine Clay Photography

Today I had a baby show up in the cutest onesie ever.  It was precious and I loved the whole rock star theme – it made me laugh.  He has just found his feet and is obsessed with them.  I love this stage!!!
