The much awaited party decorations. I get lots of inspiration on the amazing world wide web. My favorite party blogs are party perfect, Amy Atlas’s blog, Eat Drink Chic, and The Birthday Girl. If you are planning a party, be sure and check out all of these sites. They are all so creative and fantastically inspiring! We used an awesome mom in McKinney to make the cake, cupcakes, and cookies. Her name is Jamie Wing and she also has a blog that she shows all her work. She is so talented and super sweet! The polkadot plasticware is all from Target. The rest of the paper items are from Paper Source. We have a store at Northpark, and it is pure heaven. At the party, the girls made bottle cap necklaces and soda jerk hats. We also had a photobooth. I will show pictures of the guests tomorrow.

Ok, I got on your blog tonight for the very purpose of looking for this post! I totally LOVE your children’s parties and completely used your ideas last year for my one year old’s first bday! I love Annabelle’s 4th party just as much. However, I’m going to have to store ice cream parlor ideas away for a couple years. I was looking for Annabelle’s 2nd bday party pics but your archives only go back to Aug. 08. Any chance those could be posted as a “walk down memory lane” for those of us that chomp at the bit to see all your creative ideas? I would love to know what you did as my little one is turning two at the end of April! Thanks so much!
I absolutely adore your birthday party, and the photos are gorgeous and eye-popping, causing me to long for a real camera of my own! I would love to share your party with my readers!
